Madhuri dixit, an Indian actor who has been known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hai Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most renowned Indian actors. The actress began her career in the her twenties. Her character as Anil Kapoor in the Tezaab film was a huge hit and made her extremely popular. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. She was born into a middle-class household in Mumbai she was able to learn dance from an early age. At the age of 16, she began acting and suffered for several years because most of her first films were failures. Then she found her way to success and went on to be one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film industry. She took a hiatus from acting following her marriage, but returned to the world of entertainment. Dixit was the main character on Gulaab Gang, a film which explores women's struggles within India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times at the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize in India was awarded to Dixit. Her work in the social field is well-known.
