Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is a Spanish Flamenco/Pop artist. Since she was a teen she was involved both in traditional and popular music. However, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as sweet, sharp but also with a little bite. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received an Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with a variety of producers and artists such as Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in March 2022 after a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on the show on Saturday Night Live. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
